11. Cookies
Cookie is a value stored on the client’s computer. When a user comes to our website via your affiliate link, a cookie is saved on the user’s computer. We use cookies to track affiliate referrals.
Each cookie has an expiry date.
By default, the duration of the cookie is set to 30 days. With Elatum Academy, it is 365 Days! This means, if a user comes to our site via an affiliate link and subscribe within 365 days, the affiliate who referred the user will receive a commission for it. That is one (1) YEAR for your link to still bring in a paying customer!
12. Example of commission received
If you send your affiliate link to a friend, family member or maybe advertise on your Blog, TikTok, etc and they click on link and visit our site, a cookie gets stored with your Affiliate link.
That person will have 365 days to join and you will still get your commission.
You will receive 50% of our subscription fee for as long as that person stays a paying subscriber.
In other words, if that person join and stay a subscriber for 6 months, you will receive 50% (currently $6.69 divide by 2 = $3.34 per month for 6 months.
If you get 10 people to join, you receive $33.40 per month
For such a valuable and affordable service as ours, you can get many subscribers very quickly and chances are that they will stay subscribers for a long time.
If you refer someone and they pay for an annual membership of $69, you will receive an immediate $34.50 once off and then if this person renew again after one year, then you again receive $34.50.
Of course the Premium subscription is slightly more expensive earning tou even more but not so expensive that you cannot sell it!
13. How to get subscribers?
After obtaining your link, distribute the link:
a. Your Facebook posts (Your own Facebook Page only, do not Spam it in Facebook Groups. Should we get complaints of you placing your link in Facebook or other prohibited Groups, we will terminate your Affiliate account)
b. Whatsapp in general but also in Whatsapp Status where your contacts can see it for 24 hours. Renew every 24 Hours
c. Your Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Twitter/X
d. Maybe you have a Blog
e. Maybe you have a Youtube account.
f. Just general sending the link to everyone you know by email or other direct messaging.
g. Place the link in your email signature.

Once you join (It doesn’t cost you anything, you don’t even have to be a paying member yourself! ), then :
- Select the Affiliates Dashboard in the menu.
- Select “Creatives” at the top in the menu.
- You will now see an Affiliate Link and a list of banners that you could place on your website or emails or even Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Method 1:
- –> If you want to use the full banner as is to be displayed on your Website or in an email, then copy the full link as shown: https://elatumacademy.com/site/?wpam_id=xx
Method 2:
- –> From this full code, copy the URL up to just after your Affiliate number. i.e. https://elatumacademy.com/site/?wpam_id=xx
- You can use this link anywhere else you want your prospective referrals to click on. For example, if you use Whatsapp, you could post this link. Your potential referral person see the post and go to the comments and click on the link and get routed to us. We now see that you referred this person. However, you do need to be careful where you use the link as some platforms do not like the use of affiliate links. For example, do not put this in the Bio of a profile on Instagram, TikTok, etc. Then rather use a Link shorter like Bitly to enter this link to get a shorter platform-friendly link which you can then place in your Profile Bio. Better even is using a platform like Linktree which is a page with links to various of your products you wish to promote. Then you only need to point to your Linktree page from any of your platforms and posts you make to this Linktree page. You can use Linktree (Linktr.ee) for free.
- Note that you use the URL as is. Do not change anything. You do not need to copy the image.
- The number after wpam_id and in this example we show xx, is a digit ie. 10 or 781, i.e. wpam_id=10 which will be your personal Affiliate number. Do NOT change this. Your number will not be 10 but another number unique to you. Whatever number you see there, leave it as is as that will be your Affiliate number.
Commission Payout:
Commissions will be paid out via PayPal, Bank Account (EU IBAN Accounts only) or WorldRemit on the 1st of each month. Please open a PayPal account if you do not have one.
If you cannot use PayPal due to some restrictions, please contact us via the “Contact Us” page to make separate arrangements for you. Potential options could be to pay out directly to a Bank Account (EU IBAN Accounts only) or use options like WorldRemit or Skrill.
WorldRemit is used to make worldwide payments to a recipient’s bank account.
Important Note:
- Minimum payout is $20 however smaller payouts can be done on request depending on payment processor costs and fee’s.
- Payout is once a month on the 1st of the month
- Payout is only for subscriptions that are cleared into our bank account. Typically 7 days. (No refunds or card declines, etc)
- Cookie duration is 365 days (if you give someone your link today and they click on the link, they have a full year to join and you will still get your commission!)
